|Book| A Kiss in Time

<-----This is the more widely popular cove for the book.

A Kiss in Time was written by Alex Flinn, who also wrote Beastly.
This book is a modern day sleeping beauty fairy tale.

The book overall was a great! It's all about love and magic. It a great twist to a classic fairly tale story. If your what a good read this is the book for you...if you like Sleeping Beauty.

<------ This is the cover of the book that I read.... in fact that is the very book I bought and read.

The book is about Talia, a 16 year old girl, who falling under a spell after she.....can you guess?..... picks her finger on a spindle, in the 17th century.

And then their is Jack, a 17 year old boy from the 21 century, is on a tour of Europe when he goes off with his friend and they find a whole town who is asleep, and in that town they find a girl.

Jack ends up kissing her. Then she ends up waking up. Madness then in sues. There is a dungeon, a witch, a party, crazy ex-girlfriends, a king, and a "treadmill" hill. Do they live happily ever after? I guess you'll have to read it for yourself.

|Movie| World's Greatest Dad

[No stars]

World's Greatest Dad has Robin Williams in it, and I have to say that this might be the worst movie yet he's made.

I love Robin Williams. He's my favorite actor and comedian. However this movie left little to be desired.

The movie is about a father and his son. The son is a total jerk to his father and to everyone around him. The father is a write who has never been published and is a teacher at the high school his son goes too. Then one night the son kills himself while....."taking care of himself"....and the father makes it look like suicide. He even writes a fake suicide note. Then the father, well more like the son, starts getting liked and recognized because of the note then the father makes a fake journal that his "son" wrote.

At that point I had to turn off the movie because it was so stupid.

Watch it if you want to and form your own opinion about the movie but what I saw I didn't like.

|Author| Sarah Dessen

Sara Dessen is my favorite author. Her books are mainly about love and friendship and finding your way in life. There are few sad moments but mainly they are full of joy.

This isn't going to be a very long or very good review because I just can't explain the way her books make me feel. She is a very good writer. I truely believe that all women would like her books but I will say that her book are more for the youth then for the older women. But I think every women can find one person in one of her books that they could relate to in some way.

I own all of her books, and have read all but two of them.

My favorite book of her would have to be, "The Truth About Forever." It's also the first book of her's I read, which I guess is the reason it is my favorite. I love the book because Macy has her life more or less figured out, and it seems every boring but in one summer that all gets changed around when she meets a  new boy, Wes and starts a new job on the Wish team.

My second favorite book would be, "Along for the Ride." I love the name of the main girl, Auden. I'll just give you what her website says about this book. "Then she meets Eli, an intriguing loner and a fellow insomniac who becomes her guide to the nocturnal world of the town. Together they embark on parallel quests: for Auden, to experience the carefree teenage life she’s been denied; for Eli, to come to terms with the guilt he feels for the death of a friend. In her signature pitch-perfect style, Sarah Dessen explores the hearts of two lonely people learning to connect."

If any of you have ever seen the movie "How to Deal" with Mandy Moore, then you may or may not know that the movie was based off two of her books "Someone Like You" and "That Summer."

Here are the rest of her books. If you want to know more visit her website.
